NO MORE EVIL RECURSIVE BUSTUP. Problem was due to calling pthread_getspecific in call_into_lisp without first saving some registers it wanted to trash. Juho helpfully pointed out another crappy-editing-induced potential bug, too. Obviously it's bedtime.
